Thread: Title Opinions

Hi All

For Nano this year I am starting a trilogy (only doing the one here though )

I was wanting opinions on the names I have chosen.

The series is going to be called The Dragon Lord

and the names I have so far are :

Book 1 - Return of the Dragon Lord or The Void

Book 2 - Reign of the Dragon Lord or The Power

Book 3 - Fall of the Dragon Lord or The Dream

Whuich do you think sounds better?

I like shorter names myself but in keeping the Dragon Lord in the title it easily identified as a trilogy. So I'm no help at all.

Dragon Lord: The Void
Dragon Lord: The Power
Dragon Lord: The Dream

Best of both worlds.

The names have actually helped shape the other two books

I'd go with Tom. Adding "The" in a title is not as popular as it used to be (excluding titles like "The Dark Knight" or "The Box" in which it is necessary)

Dragon Lord (plus whatever subtitle) simple and effective.

I personally like the longer names!

Return of the Dragon Lord

Reign of the Dragon Lord

Fall of the Dragon Lord

For some reason they really resonate with me. ^^" Also, I think they present easier starting points on what to write about, no?
