Basically it's a competition to see who can write 50,000 words within the month of November, Garza. You can write more, but the objective is to get to at least that amount within the thirty days, which equates to approximately 1,666 words a day. It's kind of a way to let the writing dogs loose, so to speak. The idea is that you don't spend time editing and concentrate on word-count. At the end, you have yourself the first draft of a novel . . . hopefully.
