I'm about 43K right now. Still working though, despite running a low grade fever and having went shopping at midnight last night, drove a half an hour to get to stupid Toys R Us and the line wraps around the block. They have cops directing traffic and ambulance waiting at the door. I turned right around and went home. I'm making the kids gifts this year.

Red lines drive me insane and I can't help but pause to correct....just whining a bit more.

Just gone over 50,000 today. Final word count: 50,032. Only just made it but I did have to babble the last couple of hundred words so at least this way I'm not padding anymore. HUZZAH!

I babbled through most of my 50k anyway.

    Congrats.

I finished earlier today. 50,808. I actually enjoyed this one much better than the last nano I did. Maybe because I didn't have a newborn or it was just the story... on to editing now.

Hit 50k last night. Still haven't finished the book though. Will probably get it done this week.

Hi everyone, and congratulations to all those who won NaNo - or at least gave it a go...

I just wanted to let you know - some of you will remember my failed attempt last year - that this year I did it! On Friday, November 27th with a wordcount of 50,456, I went off to validate feeling very pleased with myself, indeed.

The thing is, that, like so many others, I didn't finish the story.

Ah well, so there's more to be done. NaNoFiMo (National Novel Finishing Month) through December anyone?!

    Good to be back.
