I asked someone if they'd be interested in collaborating on an entry. Just for fun. If they decide to, we'll keep tabs here and make our own little support group.

    Anyone else want to play?
To all those offended by my sense of humor I offer these delightful alternatives, surely appealing to even the most gossamer and pixie-like of fancies:
The Napoleon Of Notting Hill by G.K. Chesterton
Captain Stormfield's Visit To Heaven by Mark Twain
    Enjoy!

Are you kidding me? After the excruciating pain I went thru just to finish in November?

Was going to until the present set of difficulties. Maybe next year. Will save children's book concept for NaNoWriMo, which I'll definitely do again.

This is the link for anyone interested:

The JulNoWriMo Forums - Powered by XMB 1.9.8 Engage SP3

I managed to get myself logged in and now it's ignoring me completely - reset my password, tried a few different ways to get back into it and it's turned it's back on me...

Just like high school all over again.

Still doing it though - infact, spending the whole of today (as this is my second last day off before july) to plot the story so I have some sort of direction.

Moderan and PSFoster: that's a shame you can't do it in July.

Leyline: Yeah, lets make this the Julynano support thread!!

    Good luck all

OK, so far as we've agreed, Like A Fox and I will be collaborating on a 62,000 (rough goal) novel for this goofy lil' contest.

This is the support thread. Use it to bitch, complain, congratulate yourself, or howl at the moon.

I'm planning on doing it, as November is always way too busy for me to attempt to do nanowrimo

Yeah, November was a real bad time for me. I was working something like 6 days a week and had a lot of other stuff going on. I'd try the July one, but don't have a clue what I'd write about. I haven't even edited the one from November yet!

Looks like I'm doing it. Got nothing better to do. Recruited my friend to do it too. Might work together on a project we've been trying to hash out for the last week or so. Can't wait!

I've been spending today working on an outline - will probably spend tomorrow doing it too. All psyched up for this one

So, how are people finding day 1?

I was working today, as well as it being my birthday and I'm surprised that I have managed to write 1046 words so far.

Really want to get section 1 done tonight as I think it will give me incentive to push on tomorrow.

Happy Birthday Lilac. I'm collaborating, so I've got a 1000 word a day goal. Did it yesterday, hopefully I can keep the ball rolling today.
