I use to never be able to remember my dreams, but I recently realized that if you wake up early in the morning and then go back to sleep, you have a better chance remembering what you were dreaming.

Anyways the sad thing about the 11 pages of notes is that they currently out-word my WIP.
    Read.

If I wake up early in the morning, I don't go back to sleep. Still don't remember my dreams. Ah well. Someone on another site has an 11,000 word outline. That's nuts!
I had no idea I'd be more than halfway at this point. You'll get it if you work at it, if not, anyone who gives it a shot wins in my book

I agree, mod. Just attempting is winning. I'm going pretty good on mine, even though I have to work also, but if I don't hit 50,000 I'll be disappointed, but not devastated.

Right. It isn't like anyone is gonna shoot you for not finishing. I'd be angry at anyone who made fun of someone whose effort fell short of the wordcount goal. Most folks have jobs that demand a lot of their time and energy and life circumstances that make demands as well.
Would that the reading public was larger and we could all make livings at scribbling words, but it isn't. Writing for a living is a hard dollar and writing for fun a sometimes thankless task.

That's because you're having REM sleep (light sleep) which is the 'dreaming stage' of sleep where your not completely unconscious. just thought I'd throw that in. Wish I had quality dreams I could use for material

I very seldom remember more than a snippet of a dream. Sometimes I remember what is was about, but can't tell you a thing about it.

When I do remember them, they're useless for writing purposes, except for atmosphere. My dreams rarely have people in them. I'm more of an unconscious astronomer.
