I'm out

Round 1 weeds out the weaker members.

My ambitious idea about writing 50,000 words about a ten second clip, without plot, more than two characters, or really anything to write about seems foolish now. I've written absolutely everything I can about the first character in only 1,000 words, but more importantly the story is boring even to its author.

I'm also very low on time at the moment and doubt I'd have more than 15 days this month to write, let alone write 15/50,000 words.

Damn. I wish you all the best of luck.

Well -- it is time this old boy shapes up and get's his fingers a typing.

Slams down a highball, sucking chest in and storms out of the saloon with laptop tucked beneath his arms. Ready for the fight.
