I am currently sitting at 3,285 words as of last night. So I am at a pretty good pace. Spent 2.5 hours writing. Starting to get the flow going here.

I'm still ahead of my target after day 2 but I will be doing a big push on Saturday. Trying to hit the 20,000 on that day.

The great thing is that I have a few friends who are not shy of calling my work crap. They are really enjoying what's happened so far and pestering me for the next installment. That's really helping. I'm actually looking forward to tomorrow night when I can continue with it.

nearly 300. I've had to stop to do other work. Tonight I'll probably get to around 500, then I'm going to type like h-e-double hockey sticks on the weekend. Lets hope I can catch up.

2,510 right about now. I got around 1,000 words done on the first night, and about 1,500 done last night. That's pretty good for me.

And I killed a mime!

Roughly 2,160 or so. I'm writing it all down in a composition book, and on the weekend im going to type up what i've got so far. I did the word count for the first few pages and the average was like 185, the highest was 195 or so, so I just figured on average it would be around 180 (flexible to account for dialogue). So yeah... a bit over 2,000. I don't have a lot of time since I'm doing it during school and in between marching band practices, but after this weekend, band is over. *cries* but at least I'll be able to crank out more of my story. So far there's been a promotion hearing, a meeting with a friend, and a transport across the galaxy. Yay for me! This is the first time I've been online to check WF since NaNo started, because I've just been soooo busy! I wish everyone the best of luck, I'll probably be back on in a day or two. If you're lucky, then tonight. Haha.

Most Sincerely,

JL Hartfield

Good morning to all.

It is awesome getting on and seeing how fa everyone has gotten. No matter the level you've reached, it is writing on a daily basis, and that is always a good thing. Keep up the great work.

Coming into day three, I have 5,357 as I get ready to start again. I have met and surpassed my own personal goal of 2,000 words per day so far. I even wrote more on day two than I did on day one, hopefully I'll go up today over yesterday.

The only place I am failing miserably right now is keeping up with val. She is kicking my butt good and it would be hard to catch up to her. We'll see what hap;pens, but I may have to declare defeat soon, unless I catch a write like a crazy madman bug or something. Oh well, I'm glad I'm where I am, and extremely happy to see her word count climbing the way it is. Yay, val!

Everyone have a great day, and happy writing. Get those word counts to climbing again.

After struggling some, I got in 2108 today. That brings me up to 7505. I'm happy with it, but dang it, I needed about a 1000 more.

No really, I'm pleased with it.

3035 so far. Three chapters Which means, that to properly catch up, I need to write 3000 words tomorrow and 3000 on Saturday.

I have no idea where this is going. I came up with the basic idea a month or two ago. I've introduced three characters since I started writing it yesterday. Again, I have no idea where this is going, but it's making me feel pleasantly uncomfortable.

I'm pretty happy with my progess so far, and I've met the personal goals I'd set for myself.

My character's are solidifying into their roles now, and the story is, I hope, coming together as I go.

Ugh. I wanted to catch up yesterday, but I slept for almost the entire time.

I feel fine now, so I guess I'll have some catching up to do when I get home from school today.
