With 3500 words now down and under my belt, and achingly sore fingers, I shall take a break of an hour or two and then return.

falco
As much as I would love to start at midnight, a 5 am wake-up for hockey practice demands that I go to sleep early.... Ah well. Tuesday afternoon it is.

Great job Rico! I think the first time I did NaNo I did about 3200 words the first night.

I've still got 3 hours before it kicks off here, but I'm working on my outline and plan on writing 2500-3500 words tomorrow evening after work.

Eh, I don't play video games. Is that when it comes out? I'm just probably not going to really feel I urgently need to start until a week before I have to be finished...

I do. About 2-3 times a year. They don't hold the appeal they once did. I'd rather create than be a passive consumer.

As for waiting until the week before it's due, sounds like my kind of plan. I'm often a last minute kind of person. It's not always a good way to do things. I don't think I could do 50,000 words in a week even if I had the whole week off work and shirked everything else I normally do.

27 minutes to go and I've already bitten my nails to the quick. I don't know if I can keep my eyes open until midnight. It's my birthday in 27 minutes, too, so maybe I'll just go to bed with the missus and get my present

LOL I can start typing at 5am when we get up again

'Tis ~1 AM now. I ought to be sleeping. School starts in six hours. I've promised myself I won't start Nano until I've gotten some sleep tonight.
