    Motley is Going Online

Up to the present time, issues of Motley Press have been published in pdf format for download. Issue five, due for publication in mid November, will be an online version. Discussion among the staff and feedback from readers indicate that this is the popular choice. A test site has been set up, which you can view at:

Nice. Very clean, attractive setup. Easy on the eyes.

Very impressed it's looks very professional and easy to use. One small thought is that the title "Motley Press" should be a little more prominent as it seems abit small for immediate recognition ?

If I'm going to be reading something on the computer screen, I prefer the ezine look to the Adobe (or Mobi) sort of style. And the format does give you the flexibility to create rich-media presentations, as you've done with this.
The menu is well-organized. I do agree about the titling, the Motley Press logo image should be several sizes larger. As it is now, it's dwarfed by the ad to the right of it. I'm all for capitalism, but that may be a little over-the-top (cue rimshot).

I've made the logo slightly larger. Too large and it starts to interfere with the menus.

I like the look of the website but it would be nice to have the option of a pdf download. For example, when flying you could download the pdf version to read in the air but you would not be able to access the internet on most airlines (yet).

I see that. Well, it's a little bigger...can't do much more with that layout. Nice overall.

Help to support a declining hard copy publishing industry, stop off in the airport shop and buy a book.

People can show their approval of the new look by clicking on the Facebook "Like" box or the Google "Friends" box. They're right next to each other in the sidebar.
