Biography:

I write poetry, fiction, and essays. I've had more poetry published than anything else; Angst, Anger, Love, Hope, my first full collection, was released by JMS Books LLC in November 2010.

I was diagnosed with acetazolamide-responsive myotonia, a genetic neuromuscular disorder, in early 2011. For years, I'd had increasing muscle tightess, pain, and fatigue, and had struggled to get doctors to take what was happening to me seriously. My essays are generally about the diagnostic and social difficulties encountered by those with invisible illnesses.

I've worked as both a copy editor and a lexicographic editor.
