  1. That's amazing!!! I'm so happy for you. Yeah it's more of a fear of people seeing the real me, or as you say 'wearing your heart on your sleve' I'm not worry about someone stealing it. I don't see why they would. I'm more scared of what people are going to say or think after they read it.
  2. To be blunt, no. It's an irrational fear many authors have but there really is no substance to it. If of course you're referring to being afraid that someone may steal it and call it their own. If, on the other hand, you mean that some of the things you've written may embarrass you and putting them out there would be the equivalent of showing your heart on your sleeve, that's actually a much more understandable and relatable fear. I have written things in the past which I feared might make people think of me in a certain way; a way different from how I wanted to be perceived. Sometimes, though, you have to take the risk.

I sold over 300 copies of my last novel. A sufficient amount which made enough profit to cover the costs of printing the sequel.
  3. How well did it work for you? Did you sell any copies? I'm just scared of letting my work out there. I have no idea why. I think it's pretty good, but I'm still scared. Did you have that fear?
  4. Depends on the size of your book. The more pages = more expensive. A 400-page novel will run you about £7.15 to print on Lulu. It's not hard at all. You just need to know how to convert your novel to a PDF and upload it to Lulu's site. Once you do that, you can print off as many copies as you want or have people buy them directly from the site.
  5. Is it expensive to self publish? Is it hard to do?
  6. Self Publishing and Book Printing Solutions - Books, EBooks, Photo books and Calendars at Lulu.com

Self-publishing is easy. This is just one such print-on-demand company which offers the ability to self-publish, but possibly the best.
  7. How did you get self published? I have never heard of that.
