    No, that's terrible news. So glad you are feeling better though. And looking a whole lot trimmer. Oh my kitty she is only 3 weeks old at the moment. I will pick her up in 3 weeks. Can't wait have had a bad year and need a little friend on my side. Ha ha.We lost our 17 year old cat just before last Christmas. We have survived a year without one. Time to get a new girl.     Hi Maggie, it's nice to hear from you. I've been out of commission for a while. I was having trouble with blood sugars and ketoacidosis and had to go to hospital for treatment. Whilst in I contracted bacterial sepsis of the blood [dirty cannula]. As a result I nearly died and ended up on IV antibiotics for a couple of months. It really took a lot out of me. But on the bright side I lost 3 stone and can now wear my son's trendy skin hugging boxers.

    I read in your About Me that you're insulin dependent diabetic... do you mean type one? My daughter has the same condition, she's nearly eleven and got diagnosed at seven. Horrendous time. Good to see that people are still living good lives after thirty years!

I'm a married man born in 1969 .I have two brilliant kids a boy 15 and a girl 10 and a wonderful long suffering wife whom I dearly love.I have been a insulin dependent diabetic for over 30 years.I have worked out that I have probably had in the region of 32,850 injections in 30 years ( my arms ache ).
I am also the honoured recipient of Asperger's syndrome.I have a deep spiritual side and although I am Presbyterian, I am deeply in love with the Church of Rome and the holy see of Peter.I consider myself as a Jack of all trades;except home D.I.Y. I am a loner and always have been.I like my own company.How I ever fell in love and got married is a complete mystery to me,I live the life of a cloistered monk !

As I start to write this blog my mind is in that I haven't slept for over 24 hour mode. My thoughts are cloudy and ill defined. I strain to commit words to the keyboard. I strike the wrong keys and it seems to take an age to delete and insert the correct text. I'm looking at the delete button on the keyboard.
