Hey Venus. Everything's good on my end. Nothing overly exciting. Have a few weeks off work which is good, still got another week of peace.

Got a boy and lost a boy within the space of a few months. But that's okay, he's interstate, was going to move, things came up, couldn't move, I couldn't either coz my Mumma's doing chemo. So c'est la vie.

Hoping to get into a writing course this year. Waiting to hear back about my application.

Absolutely freezing, most unfortunately. But at least there's snow, even if it's the white powdery stuff that you can't even mold into a snowball. Christmas was... meh. But so it goes. I hope you enjoyed the holidays and that you're not too chilled to the bone!

She'll be around horses from the time she can walk anyway, even if she can't ride. I think it's good to get kids used to being with horses so they are more natural with them when they do start learning to ride. It also makes those things that you avoid doing around horses instinctive to them.

I looks like you're pretty snowed in where you are. Is it creating any problems for you?

Niamh is doing great. She's ten weeks old now. A friend who breeds horses had a foal that was born the same day and we bought it for her. Of course it'll be six years old before Niamh can start learning to ride but it should be well ridden by then and she should be able to learn on it.
