Yep, the dragon is one of mine too Thanks for the compliment on my drawing skills! I'm constantly fighting self-doubt gremlins about my art and my writing so its always a great feeling when someone thinks I'm any good.

Thats a shame but maybe also a bit exciting that you dont know how your book cover will look... You must be pretty excited about the whole thing. Cant wait to see how it turns out!

And I was serious about your book. I love the ideas behind your story and that you're incorporating Scottish history in there too. Since I didnt have time to give it the attention it deserved when you posted it for feedback, I definitely want the chance to read the finished article.

Vicki wants to start a horse sanctuary but costs are inhibitive. Vet bills are phenomenal. If she can get others to contribute and perhaps get it set up with charitable status then it might be a possibility.

Too true. Those western saddles aren't at all comfortable

We have two Andalusians and an Arab which we ride, plus seven other ponies that Vicki has rescued for various reasons, a couple of them being too old to ride and basically saved from the knackers yard. A friend of mine has a breeding stable in Limerick, Ireland. It takes a lot of capital and commitment and I couldn't even consider it. The Arab is vicious with other horses and has to be kept separate.

If you grew up on the ranch then you must enjoy horses. One of my favourite passtimes.

I like Antonio Banderas. Never seen that movie, though I did go to highschool with a guy called Eben. He was a bit of a jerk. Have you ever seen the show Inspector Rex? A German crime show where Rex (a shepherd) helps solve murders. I'm always reminded of it whenever I think of shepherds.
