I haven't played constructed in a while. It's such an expensive game, and my resources are better spent somewhere else. I would play FNM but I work Friday's. So I haven't played magic in a while. I sometimes played in big tournament's if I played enough FNM, because there would usually be an extra deck floating around. Although I never did really good in big tournament's unless I brought a deck I was practicing with for weeks beforehand. The red-white deck I told you about took me to top 8 of my state's PTQ. I barely lost to faeries in game 3. Got my ass kicked first game, after sideboard I mulligan-ed to 4 cards. I still ended up winning because my hand was 2 mountains and 2 Volcanic Fallouts. 3rd game I got white mana screwed and couldn't cast my WoG's as early as I wanted to. In hindsight I should have sided out WoG instead of siding 2 in against faeries. the double white was pricey for a card that was most definitely going to get countered.

Yeah I know what you mean. There are some decks which are just plain evil. World Gorger Dragon, with entomb and reanimate. I hated Flow Rock with a passion. It's controlling black cards where more than annoying, and it still managed to lay down the beats with impressive green creatures, some of them working in perfect harmony with the control. So many of my decks lost to that for so many years. actually it was only a couple, but still, it felt like forever.

Man you might really like an elf deck, have you ever tried elves? IF built right, they can produce ridiculous amounts of mana, even allowing for the chance to produce infinite mana, as early as turn 4. If there is a cheaper deck that can kick as much ass, I'd like to see it. With cards like, Preist of Titania, Argothian Elder, Elvish guidance, Elvish Harbinger (to make sure you get every elf you need), Wirewood Symbiote (to bounce your visionary and un-tap your big mana producers), Elvish Visionary, overrun. or whatever over-powerd card you really want to play, cuz you'll have the mana for anything, just make sure to add some Birchlore Rangers.

Sweet, Draco takes me back, I remember when I used that card in extended. I stacked my deck with brainstorms and a cursed scroll. Then blast them away with Erratic Explosion or Kaboom. Blew them away to 4 with one card. I threw in some good card draw, and control spells. And topped it off with enough 2 point damage spells to finish them off. That decked worked like a charm for a while. ----------------------------One of my favorite decks was a red white weenie deck. It built large armies with very little resources. It played revelark's, which has a crazy ability. It basically allowed me to revive 2 small creatures from my graveyard. my favorite targets where my Siege Gang Commanders. 2 of those guys is quite a force to reckon with. I'd wipe the board when it wasn't going in my favor and just rebuilt the threat from scratch, All while applying as much pressure as possible. That deck could deal with just about anything.

Haha that is a great card for clearing out tiny armies and making way for your giant creatures. Too bad it doesn't get to see much constructed use these days.
