I know what you mean. I just might have to develop my characters and turn this whole thing into a series.^_^ I might have become overexcited though.
There's not really a hard and fast rule about editing LM pieces. Read it once a day. I almost always find something. And take any crit.s to heart. My first LM entry was a bit nerve racking. LOL This is really more for fun than anything else. And sometimes you get a germ of an idea, that you can really do something with outside of the contest.
Oh man, I just submitted my first LM. I'm not at all used to the fact that I had to write stories with severely limited word count. I had to cut down about a hundred words for the final product. I hope all turns out well.^_^
Go where the story takes you. I would use the pic more as a guideline. But I'm not scoring. Probably better to ask Mod a question like that.
I was thinking, The Girl in the pic looks like a moslem or someone from india, do we need to stick to that?
