I have been away from this site for a very long time, but now I'm back. I never gave up on writing. I still love it. I have decided that I want to be a free-lance writer and I'm serious about it, but that doesn't change the fact I still want to be an author. until that day comes I want to give freelancing a shot. I'm writing this on my phone and its kind of difficult, so I'm ending it here. This blog is long enough anyway. if anyone can give advice on becoming a freelancer please share.
Sucker lit magazine is taking submissions for short stories and novels excerpts, i think, for their online magazine. The deadline is October 1st and I'm going to try to write and submit a short story by then.
The story I'm currently working on seems like it could be a novel, but I'm not sure.I'm almost certain that it's probrably ment to be a novel. I pictured myself as a short story and maybe a novella writer not a novelist, at least not yet, but one day. The thought of writing a novel intimidate's me, I know that may sound silly, but that's how I feel and I won't even attempt to make sense of it. I keep asking myself how I can make this into a novel and sadly I don't have a clue. I try not to dwell
Other than writing for my English and reading assignments writing had to take a backseat for a while. The semester is coming to an end and my procrastanation has caught up with me, so I had a lot of work to make up. Plus exams are here and I SHOULD be studing, but luckly we're able to use our notes and books just not other students. love my teacher! I have a writing exam tomorrow and I intend to take full advantage of all my resources.
