

Life is returning to normalcy once more. With a job secured and a trip back home planned, it looks like I'll be having at least 6 months of life with time on my hands.
There have been a whole host of things that I've been itching to write, mostly non fiction articles about all sorts of things. Now I finally get to sit down and write them out.
So yes, life is going back to normalcy for now. But then again, in these past 3 years or so, normalcy hasn't been the norm.
Some time ago, I can't remember exactly when, I was inspired to coin the phrase you now see in my avatar and my signature - 'Sometimes, only a cow will do.'
The phrase was a response to an initial phrase I once used from the internet - 'Life is like an artichoke. I don't know why, it just is. Inspired to create a nonsensical philosophical phrase myself, I made the cow thing.
And then during a spur of laughter and nonsense filled hours past midnight, fueled by no narcotics
It's hard being shot down.
I have confidence in my skills. I've gone through intense training. My teachers have confidence in my skills.
Maybe I just suck at auditions.
I gave New York a shot, but the school there turned me down.
Feeling mixed emotions. On the one hand, my confidence suffered a heavy hammer blow or a shotgun blast. On the other hand, I think I just screwed the auditions and well... f*** them.

It's been seven years since my first attempt at writing a novel, not counting my NaNoWriMo works.
I've written shorter pieces in that time but nothing longer. But ideas are ever brewing and I need the time to bring them to completion.
