Apparently you've exceeded your Private Message capacity. Get deletin' (Oh and this is how I pictured you for a long time, something to do with your avvy. He's a radio personality here.)
Hey, so I finally read one of the Hempel stories, The Harvest. I can totally see why you related that to my Sometimes Friends story. Stylistically similar, which is very cool because that was a great read. The link for the other story, In the Cemetery Where Al Jolson Is Buried, no longer works. Can't find it on the net either, but I did print it way back, I just left it at home, in Melbourne, and I'm not there for another week. No big, I'll read it when I get home, though if you do know a link for it let me know. Not sure if it inspired me. I've been off work for eight days now and that's certainly helping the creative brain. Off for another eight, so hopefully I can get some writing done. I hope everything is good on your end. You've been quiet. x
Hey, Kath. Merry Christmas back at you. Read those stories -- and report back!
Hey Joe. Hope you and the family have a great Christmas. You know I'm so slack, I still have those Amy Hempel stories, printed, ready to read, and haven't done so. I'll let you know when I get around to it. I didn't forget. Merry Christmas.
Hey, just thought I'd come here and say thanks for providing me with light-hearted entertainment when I'm at work. I can view, but can't actually write on the site via work computers. I'll be serving someone and you have to go and say things like "I'm pretty sure I could murder Rosie O'Donnell." I owe you. You have no idea. Though it is hard to explain to a customer why I'm laughing. Maybe you owe me for that one Oh, and thanks for critiquing my work last week. I am dead stuck on it now, but I'm sure your advice will come in handy when my brain decides to come back.
