Hey, so I finally read one of the Hempel stories, The Harvest. I can totally see why you related that to my Sometimes Friends story. Stylistically similar, which is very cool because that was a great read. The link for the other story, In the Cemetery Where Al Jolson Is Buried, no longer works. Can't find it on the net either, but I did print it way back, I just left it at home, in Melbourne, and I'm not there for another week. No big, I'll read it when I get home, though if you do know a link for it let me know. Not sure if it inspired me. I've been off work for eight days now and that's certainly helping the creative brain. Off for another eight, so hopefully I can get some writing done. I hope everything is good on your end. You've been quiet. x
my thought were more like this...ho ho ho. http://www.minti.com/image/d-600-600/15701/
Merry Christmas Joe! You really should stop by poetry and post another wonderful piece.
MERRY CHRISTMAS JOE-JOE....(for some reason, I am imaging you in a Santa outfit...lol)
Hey Joe. Hope you and the family have a great Christmas. You know I'm so slack, I still have those Amy Hempel stories, printed, ready to read, and haven't done so. I'll let you know when I get around to it. I didn't forget. Merry Christmas.
