I'm getting material together for the November Newsletter and would appreciate very much a short piece from you about the boards you moderate and any advice you have to give. Also, if you could recommend something from one or more of the boards. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ricardo

A new member, smahan, has submitted a short piece called 'Marshmallows' that I would like to include in the October Newsletter. There are a couple of nits that need adjusting, but they are minor.
Have you been able to find anything suitable for the Newsletter? I promised Rob I'd be finished by midday tomorrow. He tells me the poetry challenge didn't come off this time, so I need maybe a short fiction piece, if you can think of something appropriate and can get proper clearance. Thanks, Ricardo
I'm asking everyone for short pieces about the boards that can be used as fillers in the Newsletter and to encourage people to visit. Just a few generic sentences on each of the boards you moderate would be good. Also, if there is a piece, not too long, that you can recommend and for which you can get proper clearance, I would appreciate that as well. Good Afternoon - We have a new writer on board who is really gifted. He is MJ Preston, and he is posting in Non-fiction. I would like to include 'The Old Man in the rain' in the Newsletter as an example of the quality of work people will find in WF. Can you secure the proper clearances?
Good Afternoon - You might want to read through the latest post by Fox80 in Fiction. In PMs I have been encouraging him to change from blood-drugs-violence and write g-rated material, which is why he came up with 'Orchids'. I know there are kids who are active members here. I really would not want the parent of a 13-year-old to see this latest by Fox80 and think it's typical of WF. Frankly, it's frightening.
I'd like your opinion on the exchange between Fox80 and I in the thread 'How Good Are You'. Here is a PM I have just sent Fox80. I am also asking Olly Buckle's opinion. Please explain how I have harassed you. I pointed out as minor usage error, or misstep, if you prefer, and you said I had made an error in the codicil, and I said that there was no error in the codicil. That was the sum total of our exchange until you called me extremely rude and said should stop harassing you. When you have a complaint against someone, any discussion about it is best carried on by PM, not on the board. If you feel you have a serious complaint against someone, you should contact a moderator. I am going to ask a moderator to review our brief exchange and see if it constitutes harassment on my part. If a moderator says it does, then I will apologise.
