LOL, if you're counting on me for sanity I'm afraid you might be doomed. I have sympathy with your dog, I'd like to hide, too. In fact, I just did execute the classic mom maneuver of locking myself in the bathroom with a book a little while ago. It's a little bit of a bummer if a child gets there first. Did you have to take the door off of the hinges? I've had to do that before.
A small child locking itself in the toilet followed by row cos I wanted to leave her there and save the rest of the house from being trashed. The dog has taken to hiding under the duvet. He is not allowed on the bed but it is the only place he feels safe. Another normal day. Thankfully there is you here to keep me sane.
