It was a strange thing yesterday! I saw a post from you, checked the page, realised it was the same person, and bfore I could drop you a message I heard a loud crash. I nipped outside and a truck had reversed into my car. Well, that kind of put the brakes on things, and once I'd dalt with that I just shut down the computer and went for a beer!

Good to see you back. I figured I'd drag my feet a little before diving back in, just to see if the place does progress rather than regress! It would be good if Mister Jack resurfaced too; he wrote some great work in my opinion.

    Hello Eiji!
  10. Oh, Hi. Where'd you come from? Well, that's nice. Yes, well, maybe later. Dog's still out. It'll be maybe... five minutes. No, I don't mind. You can sit over there. That? Oh, yes... that. That, my dear friend, is called a chair. I believe originally invented in the late... 1800s? Yes, that sounds about right. 1800s, right honey??!! Yes, yes, well, that's debatable. Yes, she can be a bitch sometimes. I think it has something to do with the air in this city. Or maybe just all that vegetable diesel oil...

The Current State of Music...

...in America, that is.

[3:34 PM, Atlanta, GA. A small room in the East Wing of the now, slightly demolished parliament building.]

"Hi, I'm from the American-Norwegian Musical Library Society of America."

"Uh huh, nice to meet you... I guess. You know that title makes absolutely no sense, right?"

"Well, yes, we were going more for eccentricity with the title than logic."

"I see. It's

Really Tiny Small Talk

by Eiji Tunsinagi on 05-20-2010 at 08:50 AM
I'm paraphrasing here, mind you, for style, but mostly for everyone's patience:

"I have this friend, well, work acquaintance, really -- told her about the time I punched a shark in the nose. Strangely enough, I had her going, until she asked me where I was when in happened -- on the spot now, what do I spit out -- really stammering -- Vanuatu! I didn't believe it myself. She asked me where that was and I tried to give her a geographical reference (something about the Mariana

On Excessive Beauty

by Eiji Tunsinagi on 05-17-2010 at 05:32 AM
It seems like it's my business, this whole trouble of beauty and things that are beautiful. I mean, I can't go outside without being blinded by sunlight through leaves, glinting this and that, distant scents (fresh cut grass, lingering cigarette smoke from that odd neighbor, the smell I think I can write that an odorless wind might have, etc) -- and for what?

What am I supposed to do with this, this, with my day? What... this? Does a blog qualify beauty? If I choose not to blog...

So of course I think you’re nice. I’m in your car now. I don’t ride with strangers, and I don’t hang out with meanies so that means you must be nice. Anyone who
