I think math is going to take a serious hit at my GPA.
Nevermind that I've shown up for almost every class and I've done all of the homework on time and I study at least 2 hours before every test. Math does not interest me in the LEAST, and I cannot retain all of the information I need for a test no matter how long I study. I got a 70/100 on my last exam, which honestly, I'm not complaining about...but it could have been better.

I read Catcher in the Rye yesterday. After I finished reading it I wondered if Holden Caulfield ever found what he was looking for. You'd think that at some point someone would have told him, "Come on now. You're too old for all of this. It's time to grow up."
But honestly, I can kind of see the appeal in Holden's "catcher in the rye" fantasy, unrealistic as it might be. When you're a kid, you don't have to worry about anything because you don't know anything.

We've gotta buy the dollar store kind, the liquid kind that comes in a bottle and it's so watered down that you just know it doesn't actually kill bacteria. Ever heard of the expression "dirt poor"? Well, it's more than just an expression for some people, especially in today's shitty economy.
I wonder if I'd have been awarded financial aid next quarter if I'd included this little detail in my application.
