Snooping around the interwebs late tonight and I find your essay, On Becoming A Writer. Great stuff. Very funny. Probably very true, too. I think I fall in somewhere with the 'Credibility and Patience' crowd.

How in the hell did writers do so much great research before the internet and Google Street View? Madness.

Not yet, but they sent me an email yesterday saying one of the stories will be up this Saturday, the 13th. Hope I don't stink up the joint too bad, haha.

Yeah, I have. They bought the last two stories I did for the LM here -- my first sales. Pretty excited about it. I like them. Lots of really excellent stories there. I'm a little foggy on what they mean by 'right to use', though, whether that's first rights or one-time rights or some other kind of rights. Do you know? Like if I wanted to shop one of those stories around in the future, could I do that? I'd ask them but I kinda don't want to pester them and appear noobish.
