purrfect, or purrhaps not
I liked the "Purr say" part hehe.
Thanks for the like, golly that was quick.
It's weird how I began searching for your name in the "members online today" list and I kept missing yours every time, even when I focused on the ones beginning with "O". Turns out that colour didn't register in my mind. I'm so glad! *grin*
I'm glad to hear you say you're improving, most people in your place would would be complaining. You're tough. I pray things get back to normal for you; I keep wishing I could do something, hate feeling helpless (yeah okay, I know I'm half a world across). Take care, Olly.
Our village had its bonfire night last night. A wild and slightly pagan affair with lots of drums and dressing up followed by a huge firework display in the field behind our house. My other half keeps a Bengalese Eagle Owl and I have to board up the kitchen window so that she can come in and sit on her block away from it all. Life keeps me very busy one way and another, as my brother said, "there is so much more to do when you stop working full time".
Things are improving. I am on a twelve week course of once a fortnight infusions of a chemo drug that slows my immune system down and have just passed halfway. It is a sneaky disease, a lot of the aches and pains that I was putting down to getting old are starting to disappear, they were really the build up to the flare, and some ways I am feeling much better. The chemo drug itself is a bit wearing, it leaves me a bit weak in the legs and nauseous when normally I can walk ten miles a day. but I have always done physical work and am in a good state of fitness for someone my age, which seems to help. I don't know how much sight I will get back, but though it is a pain when I try and pick things up and miss I still have one pretty good eye.
How are things with you now?
Been a long time since you came online (and it's causing a stir). Hope everything is fine.
