You've written another stonking good story. It has given me a deep think on the subject of madness. Something is beginning to percolate through the story generation section of my mind.

Why are so many of the stories written for the manoeuvres so sad? Are writers naturally blue in tone?

Considering what little I know of you as a person, you have struck me as naturally upbeat. Why such sad stories?
