Hi everyone - I'm off work today as I'm full of a cold that my son very generously brought home from childcare and shared with both me and my lovely hubby! I rang in and left a message that I would not be in today - very cheeky as I'm only a temp, but hey - ho, it means I get some time to study. I've decided to try to do 4 hours of studying today.
Just realised that I haven't actually mentioned this as this is my first post in ages! I went ahead and signed up to a course in proof-reading.
Well my hubby is still away (should be back tomorrow all being well with Ryanair!) and I've been at home on my own with the little boy (who incidentally isn't very well the poor munchkin). This weekend really has been a watershed moment - I think the time on my own has done me the world of good (and not to mention my house being the cleanest it's been in over a month!) and I've managed to kind of put a few things in perspective. I also have a new career opportunity to look into after months of job
Well my hubby told me to write a blog.....so I am!! He'll regret saying that one day probably!
So I have written my introduction on here, but my basics are I'm a mum of 1, call centre operative, very bored! I'm not very well at the moment but my Dr is looking after me, and I'm looking for stimulation and to actually work toward my ambition of being a history lecturer. At the moment I'm in the 'family' stage of my life, so it's not really a good time to start out on a 3 year
