There was a form of brain transplant that was, for all intents and purposes, experimental at the time of implementation - some years ago, I forget how many precisely. Scientists in a particular laboratory, which has long since been closed down, were calling for test subjects from the surrounding towns and, as you can probably guess at this point, I was one of those test subjects. At any rate, the procedure was unstable and there was a monumental failing somewhere along the way and I have found myself at my wit's end ever since.
