Puffy Cloud

They say everybody goes
flying on a puffy cloud
high in the sky
once, twice in a lifetime
Wind in your face
Don't let up the pace
And maybe, just maybe, we can win our race

Watch for the pick-up
If you need a lift-up
I'll be here with a ladder on my left arm
Wandering through the high, high sky
Watch the time fly by and you wave goodbye

They say everybody goes
flying on a puffy cloud
high in the sky
once, twice in a lifetime
Wind in your face
Don't let up the pace
And maybe, just maybe, we can win our race

The birds teetering are right beside us
You'd never see this riding on a yellow school bus
Wanna slow down so that they can keep up?
I think not, let's lose the lazy shlups.

They say everybody goes
flying on a puffy cloud
high in the sky
once, twice in a lifetime
Wind in your face
Don't let up the pace
And maybe, just maybe, we can win our race

[Instrumental Section/Guitar Solo]

The sun in your eyes
The wind in your hair
You stand up on the cloud
and breathe the air
You breathe the air!

They say everybody goes
flying on a puffy cloud
high in the sky
once, twice in a lifetime
Wind in your face
Don't let up the pace
And look at us now, we have won the race

They say everybody goes
flying on a puffy cloud
high in the sky
once, twice in a lifetime
Wind in your face
Don't let up the pace
And look at us now, we have won the race
we have won the race
we have won the race
we have won the race (Repeat into a fade out)

I kind of want to make the verses longer but that's what I have so far. If you want to try and say it out loud to yourself, it's a bit fast paced. If you happen to have a metronome, crank it up to Presto, 176. I was in a very 90's rock-ish moment when I wrote it down. So just think fast, upbeat, rock and roll. Any thoughts?
