the day was young
course set to new things
but we learned of a new beginning
we learned of what they had done
we watched our old life burning
what choices to be made!
do we live life face to face?
do we turn our backs and begin decay?
you can't live life running away
seven years of life in fear
will this ship hold fast?
or can we begin to abandon?
hearts beating for themselves
are blind to whats around them
see only what they've held
inspite of all that is
all that should be
seven years of life in fear
one day gave life to decay
closing in on a decade away
from when our twin terrors
fell to dual motives
fuel to controling ways
and why? whos to gain?
