This song is my favourite song I've written. I wrote it on new years eve while I was passing through the place described in the lyrics. I wrote it down on my phone because the whole song just started spilling out of me. It's a true story and I wrote it exactly 2 years after the time described.

While it's a great, emotional lyric, I wouldn't have taken it the way I did if you hadn't told the story before hand. I know that kind of feeling you get, that epiphany of emotion, however, it wouldn't have registered to me that this is what happened otherwise, which is probably a bad thing, I dunno.
