Song - You Fell Like Raindrops

So, this one is similar to the last in subject matter (actually it's a slight progression), uses some old imagery, but I find it beautiful and speaking to what I wanted to say.

Nevertheless, despite the fact that there is a third progression to the theme, I probably won't tackle it for a time. Instead, I hope I'll get some time to write a lyric about where I am and really search for some original content.

OF course, that's hard in a world where it feels like nearly everything worth saying has been said.

I could see you when you stood there,
I missed you when you were anywhere.
I saw the stone sculpted mountains,
I saw you in the rain once again.

I missed the touch of your finger on me,
The breath on your lips that set me free.
When I was falling into nothing,
Somehow I heard you in the distance ring.

Chorus:
You fell like raindrops,
On my face as tears.
And when you had to stop,
Your traces disappeared.
An echo distant now,
A ghost before my eyes.
Reaching as I fell down,
To grab your hand before I die.

I swam in the heavy mist unknown,
Forgetting and twisting thoughts alone.
Where were you when I fell from sight,
I was wrong when all was right.

You stood across the fields filled with snow,
I stood to cross but my feet had froze.
Lost in forever reaching out for you,
I watched as you turned away and flew.

*chorus*

Chorus 2:
You fell after the raindrops,
After I wiped away the tears.
And when you had to stop,
When every trace of you disappeared.
An echo closer now,
You fade in before my eyes.
Reaching as I fell down,
And you caught me before the night.

What it feels to touch your skin again,
As I see us like we were then.
My soul courses through winding veins,
Your life is breathed into me like rain.

*chorus 2*

*chours*

that is a nice piece. Don't have anything to say to bash it, but I liked it a lot.

Actually, I have nothing much to say, so there's one of your guys gone xD Damian - this is a good example of cliche's being used well. Although I disagree with the use of the whole 'before I die' that one is just too old...and 'ring'...dude, don't rhyme nothings for the sake of rhyming.

Thanks for the comments, I'll try to get a revision done this weekend. Also, I hope to start my other lyric then, but I'll be busy so we'll see how it goes.
