Let's All Have A War...

Quote:
A little ditty I penned after a few hours on the banjo last night
We live on this side of the river;
You live on that side of the river.
Your children are skinny and they stink of fish,
You eat your own shit and drink your own pish.
This side, that side, this side, that side,
Let's all have a war about where we live!

We live on this side of the mountain;
You live on that side of the mountain.
You sleep in a hole underneath a rock,
Your mother's a jackal and she's got a cock.
This side, that side, this side, that side,
Let's all have a war about where we live!

We live on this side of the jungle;
You live on that side of the jungle.
You stick pineapples right up your bum,
You killed your Dad and you fucked your Mum.
This side, that side, this side, that side,
Let's all have a war about where we live!

We live on this side of the market;
You live on that side of the market.
We waste our food and we're consumed by greed,
But we don't like your race and we don't like your creed.
This side, that side, this side, that side,
Let's all have a war about where we live!

We live on this side of the border;
You live on that side of the border.
You have claims for freedom that are right and true,
But we've got the weapons, so, Fuck You!
This side, that side, this side, that side,
Let's all have a war about where we live!

This'd make a better poem than a song. Since it's pretty funny. I don't like funny songs all that much, so I'd rather this be a poem. haha, look at me telling you to make it a poem...who the hell am I?

(rhetorical question)

anyway, enjoyed reading it.

I dunno, I thought it was more parody of real life, not necessarily funny. I really like it. I'd think it would make a pretty good song. Not sure about poem.
