There is potential in your lyrics Roman, I like them! The flow, the go and the rhymes.

I would have to pick Kurt Cobain. They way he fused deep lyrics with satirical content is amazing (like In Bloom, Smells like Teen Spirit) He wrote lyrics about how he felt when he was full of sorrow, anger, happiness, and I can relate to them all

Trent Reznor of Nine Inch nails. he's so good at portraying feelings such as anger and angst in a poetic way. he can also write a song that fits every mood. If you feel like a grain of sand amung many, theres a song for it. If you feel like you are rotting away from the inside, he knows how you feel. If you feel blasphemous, he's written a song about it. NIN helped me become very comfortable with the....fucked up part of me. By listening to the music, I had to fester in whatever unpleasent emotion I was feeling, kindof like ripping open a scab on a wound and digging a knife into it. You multiply the pain tenfold, but it strengthens you, and you become more adpat at handling the pain.

Also, Tori Amos is an amazing composer/lyricist. She can paint a story that represents an emotion in a very poetic way.

I'd still have to side with Cobain. The way he had the deep lyrics merge with satirical jokes is great. If I had to pick one for 2nd place I'd have to pick Art from Everclear. Even though there songs are up and poppy, the lyrics are equally deep and meaningful
