The Man in the Mask (unfinished)

It's kind of like a game. Please give critique, but also see if you can tell which famous person this song is about.

Shining eyes reminding that he once was a looker
As patiently he tells the world his wife's not a hooker
The truth is there but undercover
As on his face he paints another

And in his face you see the lines
Of a thousand stories a thousand times
And though he tries not to seem unkind
Well he has learned not to speak his mind

There was a time when he could make a thousand girls cry
There was a time when he had wings, a time he could fly
He has stood there screaming in the heat and the lights
Said he knows the pain that grows in more lonely nights

And in his eyes you see the signs
Of a man who reads between the lines
And if you do too you hear today
All the words they thought he'd never say
And though he tries not to seem unkind
He has learned not to speak his mind

Safe and warm down on the farm a knock at his head
On the TV someone's talking to his friend who's long dead
Got something to say say say to your friend deceased?
Something quite predictable, the message is peace

And in his face you see the lines
Of a thousand stories a thousand times
And though he tries not to seem unkind
Well he has learned not to speak his mind

I swear this has been posted before...

anyway, I (believe) it's John Travolta. It's a decent enough song, not brilliant. Don't really have a comment.
