I wrote this when I was utterly sick of hearing these fake ass studio rappers make money when the ones with the heart and soul have to try to hustle and scrape for their recognition...
The plan was was to not let me in the game,
I came with different slang when niggas were plain.
I brought metaphors and pain like "wake up!"
But they weren't hearing me until I picked my weight up.
I was grindin in every state but,
Jesus wasn't with me,
the heaters were with me.
I felt like ghosts were trying to get me.

If I were to die broke, I'd die with dignity.
There wasn't a lot of hope but I was shining.
