Most of rap nowadays is shite. Back in the 90s it was different. The only stuff I like now is UK rap, seeing as there are no decent American rappers out there anymore. There used to be Nas, Method Man, Biggie etc. Who do you like?

Recently, heard some Jehst. good lyrics, but not quite my style.

I listen to SOME t.i. but most of his stuff is shit.
method man makes a few good tracks.
kanye west, but he's not pure rap.
lil wayne.
SOME Jay Z.
some r. kelly, when he's not being a dumbass.
ludacris is a good lyricist.
eve raps.
even gwen stefani, when it's kosher.
some chingy.
outkast is pretty good, but big boi holds the team down being ghetto.

the rest, not really rap, just lite hip hop.

Yup, jehst is really good, if you're looking for more mainstream uk rappers I could do a list for you. Wu-tang were one of the most original rap groups, which meth of course was in. He released an album last summer, which was very hit and miss. i wouldn't particularly classify Gwen Stefani as rap, but whatever. kanye is a decent rapper and a good producer but he's become really arrogant, which just makes him irritating. You should definitely get Illmatic (nas' first album) if you don't already have it, because it is arguably the greatest rap album of all time.

There's also example, who's pretty funny although I see he would be quite hard to understand for a non-brit

Two other really good ones are 'Klashnekoff' (gay name, great artist) and Roots Manuva.

But seriously, cut the chat on rap.. evidently somebody has got to like it.. you all make it seem like it's the worst thing in the world.. don't ask for my input on the worst music in the world.. I'd turn heads..
