I-Play-Bass is on a distinguished road
Question Requiem

Hey, I thought I would post this one up because I just found it lying about. I know i have a problem with rhyming when I write so it's quite possible this song is the same, though I must say I have tried to avoid meaningless rhyme rather than rhyme altogether. Let me know what you think!
This one is called Requiem!

You can’t sleep at night,
The memory rings through your mind.
It’s permanently pitched its place,
It’s like a stain.
You’ll try to rub it off,
It won’t work, the grip is too tough,
The only way forwards is to not look behind now.

(Chorus)
This is for all the dead feeling inside,
For all the fear that you have, the feelings you hide,
You live and let die but the feeling’s revived,
All you have to do is move along.

You can’t stand to look at him,
His smile makes everything just seem so dim,
He’s happy, you are nothing,
So it seems.
You feel like the one in the nightmare,
But it‘s relief when you know he didn’t care,
You can move onto better things with better people now.

(Chorus)

The feeling’s dead inside,
You can’t let it go but you tried,
You deserve better, I hope you get better.
I can’t stand by and let this happen,
The memory is beginning to crack and,
That’s another step in the right direction.

(Chorus)

Oh and can someone please tell me what this "on a distinguished road" talk is?
