Was that necessary? At least she was trying to help.
Look, I don't like rap one bit, let alone Linkin Park. But if you're going to write a song for others to read or listen to then you should at least put some effort into it.

The style itself, I could imagine the rapper rapping like that...though I don't like linkin park, especially their new stuff, I can see what you've written in my head with their music playing...Other than the style...well, someone mentioned the wikipedia making people want to commit suicide...perhaps replace 'wikipedia' with 'Elton John' then you'll find it makes much more sense. Seriously though, I didn't feel a proper structure to it, I have done a long political poem before and can see what you're trying to do - but you need to structure it and explain yourself a bit more. The media is responsible - how and what are they responsible for is one thing to look at. For a quick bored piece of work, you've got the ideas to progress it into your own rap or piece of 'slam' performance poetry - so take it a bit further - for 'slam poetry' look up Brian 'Yap' Barry and his 'Pink Punk movement' not quite linkin park in how it's laid out, but has an element of rap, you might like it, because it is quite political and does attack the media and may be of inspiration. 'Hope' and 'Monkey TV' are good poems of his. -> his website URL:

This depresses me.
I feel like I should post one of my "raps" (although the proper term is rhymes) on here just to make up for this.

Pretty good, and my ghetto school would love it.
Coke and blokes heaving noses,
'bout to club these club hoes with hoses
gat and bitch, paying it rich
think I'm bout to shiv a snitch...

Negro style??
You know.. I don't know what to say.. honestly, Voodoo.. I mean- it's like your saying EVERY negro raps like that.. Most of them do... but you don't have to title it like that, ganja..
Check out Chester Lyfe Jennings if you want to get typical..
