Song - Misspent Youth
Someone once told me about the misspent youth
and how not one of us was less than uncouth.
Rotting away our brains in pravity
we're not good enough to live our lives and breathe.
I know what it's like to break a sweat in labor
and I know how it feels when all your body hurts.
And I'm not alone in my generation
to stand and fight out world's degeneration.
Chorus:
I won't be told what to do
or that I don't fit in place.
I'm tired of what we go through
just because this world hates change.
I know how lost so many around me are
and I've seen them so lost gone and torn apart.
Under the influence of drugs and liquid death
living lives on the edge of their last breath.
And what will we see in all of this darkness
what will we see in our secluded loneliness.
As we separate ourselves from the world around
how do we keep them from bringing us down.
*chorus*
But for all our shortfalls and mishappenings
I know my generation remains standing.
And when we need to speak with one voice
there's a power to that united noise.
*chorus*
