Welcome To This Life
This is the first song I ever wrote back in 1999. I recorded it in 2000. It's kindof a rough recording (my production skills and equipment was minimal). Here is the link for it if you want to listen to it:

Welcome To This Life
You wear a smile made for yesterday
You think to yourself, what is this for
Why can't I believe, you're wide awake
You won't even tell yourself, it'll be ok
Welcome to this life
There are times, the light seems to fade away
Corners are the only place you feel safe
You need your blanket, it's been taken away
Bring it all to me and I'll give you a place to hide
Welcome to this life
Chorus:
Everyone says, that beauty is within
Many say, love never fails
Well I say, you gotta give yourself away
Just one more time
Welcome to this life
Sometimes you fall, you gotta get back up again
Show this world that you care
If you feel shadowed, let me light your way
Take my hand, turn around, look into my eyes
Welcome to this life
Chorus:
Everyone says, that beauty is within
Many say, love never fails
Well I say, you gotta give yourself away
Just one more time
Welcome to this life

How did I miss this?
Have you taken the track down yet?

What's up Sygabu, this was really nice. I really liked the way it read, for some reason, I sung it like I was the lead singer from REM. Great song.
