Danbury Road

Danbury Road

Here's to the ladies of Danbury Road
They all can turn tricks without being showed.
And hardly a one is twenty years old
Three cheers for the ladies of Danbury Road.

Give them a fin and you can come in.
Spend an hour you won't soon forget.
Have your fun while you're young
And I'll make one small bet.
You'll never forget the young ladies.

Here's to the ladies of Danbury Road
A marvel of nature (or so I've been told)
I've never been down there, I'm really too old,
But three cheers for the ladies of Danbury Road.

Give them a fin and you can come in.
Spend an hour you won't soon forget.
Have your fun while you're young
And I'll make one small bet.
You'll never forget the young ladies.

Here's to the ladies of Danbury Road
Tip your hat when you watch them walk by.
Give a nod and a smile and thank God for a while
That you aren't as old as I.

Give them a fin and you can come in.
Spend an hour you won't soon forget.
Have your fun while you're young
And I'll make one small bet.
You'll never forget the young ladies.

I'm picturing this with a sort of lilting Irish Ballad type of tune, what does everyone think?

save-the-panda's
I can picture a pub in ireland and some kinda gig music going on while a bunch of old men drink beer and sing...

If that is what you were going for then great!

Its not really my cup of tea but it flowed well. It wasn't bad but it didn't amaze me either.
