Heartless child in the arrested void (Finished)

After a long absence i return. I have a new band. No longer the Graceful Failures. I'm now in a band called Lost Circus (I'm on bass and heading songwriting, that may not be a good thing ) Anyway. This new band is influenced by Smashing Pumpkins, The Pixies and Talking Heads. Tell me what you think of this song so far.

"Heartless child in the arrested void"

Makin love in electric boutiques,
Talking with a man until he speaks,
Gettin away from the dandylion fires,
As the the people roll in like social vampires,

Heartless child in the arrested void,
Playing in the feilds with the unemployed,
Cheese it its the fuzz,
When you're not busy you can give me a buzz,

I once read an article "10 hints your hooker is an alien"
What if she was?
Wouldnt that be a trip,
You should try this dip,

You get the whip,
I'll start to strip,
I think its kinky,
You're startin to get wrinkly,

Heartless child in the arrested void,
Playing in the feilds with the unemployed,
Cheese it its the fuzz,
When you're not busy you can give me a buzz,

I would really love to hear your band especially after saying that you are inspired by some great bands with very original sounds. I really like your words so far, keep it up man and keep me posted. If you have any recorded stuff of your band, send me a link. Best wishes

Good news, Ths song is finished!
LettersToTheBlind: No idea what direction you'd call this, but i like it.
Gulf Whiskey: Thanks man, We havent recorded anything yet. The other guy (Guitar and main musician) has had a bad 12 months and is kinda depressed. Massive writers block. But we'll get there.
