Kind-a Man
Verse 1:
He’s got a one-liner
That’s sure ta find her
In a bachelor
Kind-a bar.
The smooth walkin’
Cool talkin’
Wine her
Dine her
Blind her
Kind-a man.
Chorus:
But, don’t fall for
A one-linin’
Two-timin’
“come on baby,
let’s get crazy”
kind-a man
he’s gonna woo ya
and fool ya
inta thinkin’
he’s a one-woman
two-steppin’
kind-a man
Verse 2:
She found a one-liner
That’s sure ta find her
In a bachelor
Kind-a bar.
The heart breakin’
Soul shakin’
Took her
Shook her
Boot her
Kind-a man
Chorus:
Yes, she fell for
A one-linin’
Two-timin’
“come on baby,
let’s get crazy”
kind-a man
oh, yes, he wooed her
and fooled her
inta thinkin’
he’s a one-woman
two-steppin’
kind-a man
Chorus:
So, don’t fall for
A one-linin’
Two-timin’
“come on baby,
let’s get crazy”
kind-a man
he’s gonna woo ya
and fool ya
inta thinkin’
he’s a one-woman
two-steppin’
kind-a man

I did like this, but I found it far too repetitive

thank you for the peep, stp's!! repetition is awesome in this type of "song" ... listeners lub this kind of stuff, especially in the country genre ... of course, as a poem, it would definitely be too repetitive and i would've given the same exact advice!!
thank you again!!

I liked it, as you said for this kind of song repition is appropriate, though not nessescarily my tastes. I would suggest expanding it another verse for what hapends to the girl.

thank you for your advice, thamior!! and definitely a good suggestion, too, however, the guy who composes my lyrics says "less is more", so, i'm gonna allow it to remain this-a way, unless he requests more ... *sigh* ... please don't take me as a hard head who's not open for advice ... quite the contrary, so don't give up hope on what the cover says is contained in this book
