Nothing But a Lie
Nothing But A Lie
By:Zack
CHORUS
Every single day
is nothing but a lie that keeps building,
Every single day
is nothing but a lie that keeps killing me.
Every single day
is nothing but a lie that keeps pulling me down
Every single days
is nothing but a lie
VERSE
before you do these things
do you think of me
do you care how i would feel
just before you lie to me
does it make you think
of how your hurting me inside
BRIDGE
as the days go by
and you waste away your life
will you think of me
and what we could have had
CHORUS
Every single day
is nothing but a lie that keeps building,
Every single day
is nothing but a lie that keeps killing me.
Every single day
is nothing but a lie that keeps pulling me down
Every single day
is nothing but a lie
VERSE
how can you face your day
when you turn away
and youve left me with nothing
how can you speak of love
when you lie to me
now youve taken everything
BRIDGE
as the days go by
and you waste away your life
will you think of me
and what we could have had
CHORUS
Every single day
is nothing but a lie that keeps building,
Every single day
is nothing but a lie that keeps killing me.
Every single day
is nothing but a lie that keeps pulling me down
Every single days
is nothing but a lie
ENDING
Every single day
is nothing but a lie that keeps
building, and killing, and pulling me down,
Its nothing but a lie.

wow.
Lets just say... I can definately see your rambling pessimism, and anger!
It is quite brilliant in that sense. The best part however, is the culmination of the song where it groups the lyrics of the verse into 1 line, it' s very...ah....adroit? or clever? I suppose (lost for words on the matter of that.)
However, . it was relatively repetitive, but it all works out in the end. Jim morrison, famous lead singer of THE DOORS and world renowned poet says, "In the matter of my songwriting, man, I like to repeat my first verse in the last verse, man. Sounds better, cooler, hipper and it means something..."-just take it from him, he was brilliant.
You are a well developed song writer I can tell, keep up with it.
I do have a question though.....What style of music do you play?
Kerpoe.....keep on scribbling

Whoa...a particularly interesting style you have applied here, and I must say, with a new pattern of Chorus-Verse 1-Bridge-Chorus and so on, I'm impressed.
No problem with the content here. The meter's looking good and whatever is drafted, it's moving along fine. Your genre though was hard to interpret, but looking at what you stated, it could be said that you are using blue/folks remuneration here.
BTW, I never knew Jim Morrison repeated the first verse in the end, that's good knowledge Kerpoe, thanks!
Keep writing, both of you!
Gil.
