Some songs

Hey everyone. I'm gonna post two songs I wrote. Feel free to comment in any way. These were supposed to be for my band, but the guy who plays drums went emo and lives real far.

It loses a bit without a guitar to sing along to, especially the parts with repetition. But just take it for face value. If you want some more song lyrics, just ask. I have a bunch, so I'll just post them in here rather than spam the board.

Summer leaves

When the summer comes we can leave
I'm so excited I can't breathe
As veins grow fat with extra blood
Love only feels good cause it's a drug

You'll be sorry
Oh so sorry
So sorry
When summer leaves

----

Waiting

I'm wasting my life
One second at a time
Each moment spent breathing
Is like a wait in line
Wait in line
Wait in line
Wait in line

I'm wasting my life
Although we can't agree
If life is such a precious gift
Then why's it come for free?
Come for free
Come for free
Come for free

I'm wasting my life
Repeating stupid chores
But don't you try to tell me
To waste my life like you waste yours
You waste yours
You waste yours
But don't waste mine

I think you could expand the first one quite a bit, perhaps making a parallel to leaves as in tree-leaves.... symbolizing the passage of time or whatever. Really neat. The second one didn't catch me like the first did, for some reason. I dunno. good job though =^..^= ~Coraz
