In All the Thoughts

OK, one more song since I'll be taking off tonight, and gone for a while. This is one I had demoed by a studio in Nashville, paid $550 and it turned out pretty well, which is always a relief when you pay to get a song demoed.

You just seemed to disappear, it's been over a year,
since you promised me we'd stay in touch.
And I thought that we agreed, 'bout the friends we'd always be,
but I guess that doesn't matter to you much.

But I still think about you all the time,
and there's always a question in my mind.

In all the thoughts I have about you,
in the midst of every memory...
In all the thoughts I have about you,
I wonder if you ever think of me.

Though I'd wanted you to stay, I learned day by day,
that time would take away the love we had.
When you never even called, the hardest part of all,
was knowing that you never once looked back.

And now it breaks my heart to think it's true,
to think it didn't mean a thing to you.

In all the thoughts I have about you,
in the midst of every memory...
In all the thoughts I have about you,
I wonder if you ever think of me...
In all the thoughts I have about you,
I wonder if you ever think of me.

Yeah, I actually thought about posting the MP3. If anyone would be interested I'd be happy to.

Better yet, for now, if you're interested you can listen to MIDIs of some of the songs I've composed at the following page:

I'd recommend listening to "What would I do?" and "Something I Can't See" first--these have been my most liked compositions.
