Not a Lyrics Post - Just a Question (or two)

How many of you in this part of the forum write music in addition to writing lyrics? Are any of you looking to collaborate?

One member here has already expressed an interest, and I'm grateful for that.

However, several of the lyrics I've seen posted here are compelling to me, and I'm curious to know how many actual (more-or-less) completed songs are represented by the lyrics posted here. It's obvious that many of you have musical talents in addition to your lyricwriting abilities.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Spudley is an unknown quantity at this point
When I write a song, I always come up with the melody as well as the lyrics.

But I find it really frustrating that I have no actual musical skills, so even though I can write the lyrics down, the tunes just end up staying in my head.

Lindy,
Do you score as well as write melody lines?
I usually write the music and words for my songs because the songs I write tend to be genre specific.
I have a real love of musical plays...I write the book and song prose because it winds into the plot. Play music has specific needs...big numbers, love songs, I will overcome songs, dance numbers high energy, chorus pieces etc.
I have worked with others writers before.
Let me know.
