I found you......Please critique.

I found you

(C) Realmouse2003

Verse 1
Love hid away from me,
The joy of being romantic,
In a maze of uncertainty,
Couldn't find my way around it,
I felt like giving up,
Inside a wave, I was almost drowning,
When you, came to my rescue,
Stabilized emotions inside me,

Chorus
Something happened,
On the way to find myself,
I found you,

Something happened,
On the way to find myself,
I found you,

Verse 2
Caught in the eye of a storm,
Trapped emotionally,
Temperature's starting to fall,
A wall closes in on me,
Thought I'd had enough,
Inside, I was almost dying,
When you, came to my rescue,
Stabilized emotions inside me,

Chorus
Something happened,
On the way to find myself,
I found you,

Something happened,
On the way to find myself,
I found you,

Bridge
You are my pilot,
I am your plane,
Fly me anywhere crazy,
Through licorice clouds,
Lamington kiss's,
I can taste, your love baby,
When cupid gives the sign,
It's time to fly,

Chorus
Something happened,
On the way to find myself,
I found you,

Something happened,
On the way to find myself,
I found you,

Raejon where do I start? Should I copy the whole thing, paste it in between quotes and then say this is my favorite part???? I loved this. \/ You have out done yourself. I loved every word. My absolute favorite part is this :

Quote:
You are my pilot,
I am your plane,
Fly me anywhere crazy,
Through licorice clouds,
Lamington kiss's,
I can taste, your love baby,
When cupid gives the sign,
It's time to fly,
Can't wait to hear this with music. Any thoughts to what kind of sound? Wonderful mate, simply wonderful.

One thing Raejon, probably sounds stupid, but please explain:

Quote:
Lamington kiss's,
Don't want to miss a thing.

Thanks,

Nae

Don't be hard on yourself "Nae" it doesn't
sound stupid

Lamington is a cake here in NZ it's
pretty tasty, that's why I used it in this
lyric. I'll give you the recipe for it, It's
only easy to make.

First you buy a log sponge
Then you make a strawberry
jelly. "Don't" let the jelly set..
You will have to dip the sponge in jelly
until covered, then pull it out and sprinkle
heaps of coconut over it?
That's about it..

Chocolate lamington is made the same
way, you will have to melt "choc buttons"
then dip y'all sponge in the melted chocolate.
Sprinkle with coconut thingies and the rest
is history..

"Coconut sprinkles" I think

I hope I haven't confused you..

Thanks Nae and Hollyoake..
It's all good ......Mouse..
